Who am I
I’m a strategic communications professional with a background in progressive politics and a passion for public transportation. I earned my bachelors in Political Science & French at Case Western Reserve University, where I rode the RTA Red Line and Healthline to my first government internship with Senator Sherrod Brown. I earned my Masters in Public Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University while interning with the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation – before becoming the spokesperson and communications specialist for the Greater Richmond Transit Company, America’s largest fare free transit system.
Today, I work as a Public Information Officer for Sound Transit, powering the most ambitious expansion of modern, high capacity rapid transit in the United States. In addition to my traditional media relations job responsibilities, I’m also a feature on agency social media as @henryonboard – helping guide our riders through expansion, construction, disruptions, and more.
